      The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for purposes of membership is Art. 6, Subsection 1b, Data Protection Regulation, DSGVO.Data is only collected and processed to the extent required by law or required for your membership. Insofar as further data may not be directly required for the implementation of the membership relationship, the processing is based on a legitimate interest of the company in accordance with Art. 6, Subsection 1, letter f, Data Protection Regulation, DSGVO.

      A legitimate interest may arise, for example, from internal organizational and administrative purposes, for the protection of the company’s facilities, installations and assets, as well as its data processing equipment and data. Your data may be processed here, unless the protection of your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms prevails.

These are publishers for subscription administration (Springer, Thieme Verlag), pco for congress participation (m:con, Mannheim:Congress GmbH), IT service provider for maintenance of the company’s systems (trinidat, amexus, capa), interested third parties when submitting abstracts and symposia, for issuing your membership card either ESC or Manhillen Drucktechnik (for members of Section 1), tax and social insurance authorities, banks for processing membership fee payments, tax consultants (PwC Germany), auditors (Dornbach GmbH)), shipping service providers (Deutsche Post), and file/data carrier disposal (arlogis company).

    Your personal data will only be stored as long as knowledge of the data are required for the purpose of membership or as long as legal or contractual retention regulations exist.Different legal retention periods result from tax, labour and social security regulations and are sufficient for tax-relevant documents and receipts for up to ten years after termination of your membership.

      The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for purposes of the application procedure is Section 26, Subsection 1, German Federal Data Protection Act, BDSG, new version.Data is collected and processed only to the extent required by law or required for the application procedure.

    If no employment contract is concluded with the applicant, the application documents will be automatically deleted four months after notification of the rejection decision, unless a deletion precludes other legitimate interests, such as a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

    Your personal data will only be transmitted or disclosed to external bodies to the extent required by law or to fulfil the employment contract concluded with you (e.g. to tax and social security authorities, banks for payment of remuneration (Commerzbank), tax consultants (PwC Germany), auditors (Dornbach GmbH)), shipping service providers (Deutsche Post), as well as file/data carrier disposal (Company arlogis) or on the part of the DGK or an external party a legitimate interest in the above sense exists and the transmission is permissible according to the data protection regulations.DGK may also disclose your personal data and information to representatives and contractors who provide a service for us, including insurers and consultants, for legitimate purposes, insofar as permission has been granted in individual cases in accordance with data protection regulations.       Your personal data will only be transmitted or disclosed to external parties insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract concluded with you for participation in the event.       The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for purposes of membership is Art. 6, Subsection 1b, Data Protection Regulation, DSGVO.Data is only collected and processed to the extent required by law or required for your participation in the desired programs. Insofar as further data may not be directly required for the course participation, the processing is based on a justified interest of the company in accordance with Art. 6, Subsection 1, letter f Data Protection Regulation, DSGVO.
    3. Transmission of your personal information (“recipient”)
      Your personal data will be made available to the responsible person in charge within the DGK, as well as to experts and, if applicable, the responsible committee representatives. Your data will only be transmitted or disclosed to external parties insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract concluded with you for the respective program participation. Such entities are those that prepare the checklists for the processing of applications in certification procedures (Fileteam), IT service providers for the maintenance of the company’s systems (trinidat, amexus, capa), shipping service providers (Deutsche Post), and file/data carrier disposal (Company arlogis).

 

  1. Duration of storage
    Your personal data will only be stored as long as knowledge of the data are required for the fulfilment of the contract or as long as legal or contractual retention regulations exist.Different legal retention periods result from tax regulations and are sufficient for documents and receipts relevant to tax law for up to ten years after completion of the respective program.

    You have a right to information about the personal data stored about you, about the purposes of the processing, about possible transmissions to other parties and about the duration of the storage.You may also receive extracts or copies to exercise your right to information.
